The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks bids to supply station service static inverters for the 603-MW Ice Harbor Dam hydroelectric project on the Snake River in Washington. Bids are due March 25.
The Corps' Walla Walla District took bids in February for biological services for its fish transportation program at Ice Harbor and four other projects. Last year it took bids refurbish thrust bearing shoes at Ice Harbor and the 810-MW Lower Monumental project and surveyed whether it would be appropriate to use Project Labor Agreements for hydropower turbine supply or installation at Ice Harbor and 980-MW McNary Dam.
In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the Walla Walla District now seeks bids to furnish two new continuous duty on-line ferroresonant transformer-based static inverters for station service at the Ice Harbor powerhouse.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912EF15Q0071 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.
Bids are due March 25. For information, contact Valerie Reller, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, 201 N. Third Ave., Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876; (1) 509-527-7212; E-mail: patricia.thomas@usace.army.mil.
