by Staff
|
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has extended the deadline for bids to supply oil filtration systems for the 402-MW Dworshak Dam hydroelectric project in Idaho. Bids now are due April 15.
The Corps' Walla Walla District previously called for bids by April 1. It also called for bids by April 10 to supply circuit breakers for Dworshak.
The district took bids in February to upgrade the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at Dworshak. It also requested information in December on firms able to perform winding replacement and cavitation repair of the Unit 3 turbine-generator at Dworshak on the North Fork Clearwater River.
In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the district now seeks bids to supply three kidney loop oil filtration systems for continuous conditioning and heating of governor oil for the three main unit hydropower generators at Dworshak.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912EF15Q0099 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.
Bids now are due April 15. For information, contact Douglas M. Davis, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, 201 N. 3rd Ave., Walla Walla, WA 99362-1876; (1) 509-527-7208; E-mail: douglas.m.davis@usace.army.mil.
