Columbia River regional fish checks:

Lower Columbia River - Aug. 5-11: 1,977 bank anglers caught 33 chinook and 263 steelhead, and released five chinook and 316 steelhead; 542 boats with 1,194 anglers caught 56 chinook and 186 steelhead, and released seven chinook and 196 steelhead; three boats with 10 anglers caught 14 sturgeon and released 46; three boats with five anglers caught two walleye and released 12.

Cowlitz River - Aug. 5-11: 13 anglers caught two chinook and one steelhead, and released five chinook; 20 boat anglers caught two steelhead.

Wind River - Aug. 5-11: Four boat anglers caught four steelhead and released six.

Drano Lake - Aug. 5-11: 175 boat anglers caught 25 chinook and 76 steelhead, and released 117 steelhead.

Columbia River in The Dalles Pool - Aug. 5-11: 17 bank anglers caught two sturgeon and released 43; four boats with 14 anglers caught two sturgeon and released 59; 22 bank anglers released three steelhead; 17 boats with 37 anglers caught two steelhead and released 10; four boats with 10 anglers caught one walleye; three boats with six anglers caught four bass and released 62.

Columbia River in Bonneville Pool - Aug. 5-11: 23 boat anglers caught eight steelhead and released 31.
