The Washington Columbia River mainstem and tributary sport sampling summary for Aug. 7-13.
There were 373 salmonid boats and 155 Washington bank rods tallied during the Aug. 12 count.
COLUMBIA RIVER MAINSTEM
SALMON/STEELHEAD
Sec 1 (Bonneville) -- 46 bank anglers kept three Chinook; one boat/one rod had no catch.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) -- Seven boats/12 rods kept two Chinook.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) -- Three bank anglers had no catch.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) -- 17 bank anglers had no catch; 17 boats/35 rods had no catch.
Sec 5 (Woodland) -- 45 bank anglers had no catch; 41 boats/91 rods kept 13 Chinook and released three steelhead.
Sec 6 (Kalama) -- 72 bank anglers kept eight Chinook. 15 boats/33 rods kept one Chinook.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) -- 35 boats/78 rods kept four Chinook and released six steelhead.
Sec 8 (Longview) -- 34 bank anglers released two steelhead; 33 boats/63 rods released one Chinook and one jack.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) -- Three bank anglers had no catch; four boats/eight rods had no catch.
