Fall Chinook Season Opens Sept. 1 by Staff East Oregonian, August 24, 2011

ENTERPRISE -- Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife announced Tuesday that the upper Snake River will be open for fall chinook salmon fishing Sept. 1.

The river will be open from the Oregon-Washington border to the deadline below Hells Canyon Dam and will stay open until Oct. 31.
