Columbia River Fall Chinook Counts
Highest at Bonneville since 1989

Bonneville Dam fish ladder allows adults to migrate upstream.  Recent survival of adult salmon migration up through the federal dams and reservoirs is 80% while dam mangagers have set a 90% performance standard in the 2008 Biological Opinion. Here are some updates on fish returns to the Columbia River provided by state Fish and Wildlife:
