Spring Chinook Seen at Bonneville Dam this Weekby Mark YuasaSeattle Times, March 6, 2012 |
As spring chinook catches have started to ramp up in the Lower Columbia River, a few have actually made it past all the anglers and were conted at Bonneville Dam.
Two spring chinook passed the Bradford Island fish ladder on Sunday, March 4.
The fish counter at Bonneville believes they are springers, and both were clipped with a missing adipose fin meaning they are of hatchery origin.
A jack spring chinook also passed through Washington Shore on Monday, March 5.
