7th Annual Free Snake River Family Festival Saturday at Boyer Park & Marina by Evan Ellis Big Country News, June 5, 2024

COLFAX -- The Port of Whitman County's 7th Annual Snake River Family Festival is coming up on Saturday at Boyer Park & Marina.

The event includes a free BBQ lunch and ice cream, live music, exhibits and tours of Lower Granite Dam. The port hosts the free festival to highlight the benefits of the Four Lower Snake River Dams. There will be a raffle for a half day guided jet boat tour of Hells Canyon. Dam tours will be from noon to 2:00. Tour participants must wear closed toed shoes and provide a valid photo ID. The fest if free and open to the public.

Boyer Park is located South of Colfax just below the dam.
