Tribes Selling Salmon on the Columbia River

by Staff
Yakima Herald Republic, May 11, 2011

Spring salmon sales opened Tuesday at tribal fisheries on the Columbia River.

Salmon can be purchased on the bank from fishermen from four Columbia River tribes: Yakama, Nez Perce, Umatilla and Warm Springs.

Fish can be purchased at Marine Park at Cascade Locks, Lone Pine at The Dalles and the boat launch near Roosevelt. Price is determined at the point of sale and sales are cash only.

For more information about fish sales, contact the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission at 888-289-1855 or at www.critfc.org/harvest.
