Show Us the Money to Remove Dam

by Gerald R. Johnson
The Columbian, March 30, 2011

Oregonians who demand the removal of four dams on the Snake River ought to pay every penny, including clean-up costs and the impacts on the regional economy. If these foreigners want to march right in and dismantle the infrastructure of our state, then show us the money, namely their own. America is under assault by invasive species: African bees, Asian carp, zebra mussels, slithering pythons. Now we have two-legged ones scheming to encroach upon our beloved Evergreen State.

Show us the money and put it in an escrow account, lots and lots of money. Then, put in some more.
