Spring Chinook Season Slated to Start April 24 by Staff Lewiston Tribune, March 18, 2010

The Idaho spring chinook salmon season on the Clearwater, Lower Salmon and Little Salmon rivers and the upper end of the Snake River in Hells Canyon will open April 24.

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission approved the seasons at its meeting in Boise today.

Washington will open a spring chinook season below Little Goose Dam on April 24 and hopes to also open fishing in sections of the Snake River between Clarkston and some point upstream of Lower Granite Dam, below Lower Granite Dam and below Ice Harbor Dam.
