The Society of American Military Engineers Portland Post will meet Wednesday, Feb. 3 starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Governor Hotel, 614 S.W. 11th Ave., in Portland. The speaker will be John McAmis of McAmis Dredging and CDB Contractor Drilling and Blasting to talk about the Columbia River deepening project.
